  • Preparation of historic contexts
  • Report production
  • State architectural resource packets
  • GIS and CAD map production

Applicant must be able to identify historic properties, render architectural photographs, and have a basic understanding of federal- and state-level preservation law. Proficiency in CAD and/or GIS is a notable plus. The Applicant must also be proficient in Word and Excel, and be physically able to conduct architectural surveys in a myriad of settings including rural areas. It should also be noted that the position will require some travel during the week, but per diem and lodging will be provided on projects more than approximately 60 miles from Fredericksburg. The position is 40 hours per week and will last a minimum of two years. Pay is $12−15/hour based on experience, and work will begin immediately.
