AN ADJUSTMENT TO SCD-LEAVE FOR NON FEDERAL WORK EXPERIENCE OR ACTIVE DUTY UNIFORMED SERVICE MAY BE AUTHORIZED.
 
DUTIES:
·         The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the NGB/ANG Cultural Resources Manager and thereby provide professional expertise on cultural resources and Native American issues in all areas, develop program policies, criteria, standards and budgets, and ensure the continued operations of ANG missions while protecting and minimizing impacts on cultural resources.
·         Develops and provides HQ NGB staff and ANG bases with definitive policy and guidance on laws, directives, and instructions as they apply to the management of cultural resources and historic (archeological resources and historical buildings) and Native American sacred sites and Traditional Cultural Properties.
·         Develops the NGB Cultural Resources Management Plan and establishes goals and metrics with appropriate funding priorities.
·         Oversees the preparation of, reviews and evaluates EIAP documents for NGB and Air Force initiatives.
·         Exercises program and project management responsibilities.
