Job Description:
The University of Central Florida’s Department of Anthropology invites applications for a non-tenure earning nine-month, full-time visiting lecturer position in Cultural Anthropology, starting Fall 2015. Teaching load is four (4) courses per semester. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to teach a master’s level “Ethnographic Research Methods” seminar. The remainder of the teaching load will comprise mid- and upper-level undergraduate cultural anthropology courses. The successful candidate’s teaching strengths and experiences may be taken into consideration in scheduling undergraduate courses. Geographic, theoretical and topical specializations are open.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Anthropology with a sociocultural specialization from an accredited institution is required at the time of application and must demonstrate experience and excellence in teaching.
Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to teach a master’s level “Ethnographic Research Methods” seminar.
