JOB SUMMARY:
Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
About the Position:
This is a TERM position, which is a temporary position that is not to exceed 13 months and may be extended up to four years.
You will work under the general supervision of the Noncommissioned Officers Museum Director administering and ensuring the proper operation of the United States Army Museum of the Noncommissioned Officers; the collections include historical properties, archives, and photographic collections.

Research artifact acquisitions to add collections into museum exhibit materials; Monitor preservation of artifacts such as environmental conditions, inspections, handling of objects, and maintenance of storage areas for effective operation of the museum; Assist the Director in making work assignments to museum docents, members of the museum committee and the academy students; Update automated records to facilitate research, reports and/or exhibit identification and location; and Perform scholarly research to identify, classify, and conserve museum artifacts.
