This summer marks the 17th annual archaeological field school through Washington University's University College, at the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site near Collinsville, Illinois. Please join us for our 2016 Field School in archaeology.
Excavations will focus on a location near Cahokia's East Plaza, pursuing additional information on an important center of craft production at Mound 34. Three weeks of excavations will be conducted and students will learn a broad range of skills relevant to American prehistoric archaeology.
