Work with Transylvania Bioarchaeology included training in both excavation and laboratory analysis. Here I enhanced my knowledge of the basics of field excavation and site survey. I also gained extensive training in ID and analysis of the human skeleton. Within the lab I also received hands on experience with paleopathology as well as aging and sexing human skeletal remains.

Work in the field included basic methods and strategies for archeological excavation and site survey. The excavation took place on a Native American site called Grandad located in the mountains of Mariposa California.
