I have been a field archaeologist since the fall of 2005. I have worked all over the US Southwest, parts of the Northwest and Midwest. I know how to use ESRI software for GIS. Currently I am working with the National Park Service until September 27th. I am looking for work after my season ends.

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
Law Enforcement duties, issue citations and interact with visitors. The Law Enforcement duties I conducted was controlling speeding within the park. Most of the
speeding violations where coming from local residence and Charlie Three Navel officials. Other law enforcement duties I did was patrol camp ground for noise,
alcohol violations and fire safety. I also helped with traffic control at the Visitor Center.
I assisted with three lost child incidents, two searches for potential suicide on the AP trail, and two SAR events at the Park.
During my time at Catoctin Mountain Park I issued 7 citations. 2 for littering, 1 Access lane to Camp David Violation, 2 for violation of visitation hours, 1 for
possession of a controlled substance, and 1 for skateboarding in an area not designated for skateboarding.
During my time at the park I got my Firefighter Type II red card and went out on two fires. The first fire was the Twin Peaks Fire in Utah and the second fire was
the Pioneer Fire in Idaho. I also assisted local firefighters in the Thurmont area on a brush fire prior to leaving my season at Catoctin Mountain Park.
I assisted resource management with archaeological finds found at one of the historic camps by visitors and used GIS to develop a report for the isolated finds. I
also rode along on a deer management project conducted at Catoctin Mountain Park during the winter season.
I attended two parades as Smokey the Bear, and was at the centennial celebration as Billy the Bison. I also attended the Forth of July Parade and was on the
float in Washington D.C. representing the Park Service.
