•Leading a team of field school participants both in the field and in the lab, and ensuring your team completes the daily aims and objectives 

•Identifying human skeletal remains in both the field and the lab

•Making a packed lunch for team members on field days

•Supervising team during the field trip

•Completing daily social media posts with research assistants

•Liaising with research assistants daily to ensure your team is on track

PROJECTS

Archaeological Field Research — Transylvania Bioarchaeology 

June 2015- July 2015

This project is based out of Cluj-Napoca in the beautiful country of Romania. The site is located between three archaeological settlements associated with different time periods, beginning in the Late Roman period through to the Barbarian invasions and the early Medieval period. Work included basic field archaeology, site drawing, skeletal ID, photography, and site survey. Laboratory analyses were  also conducted on skeletal remains excavated from previous years. 

Archaeological Field Research — Fresno State University

June 2011-July 2011

This project included basic methods and strategies for archeological excavation and site survey. The excavation took place on a Native American site called Grandad located in the mountains of Mariposa California.
