University of Alaska Fairbanks credits.
Learn to excavate, identify, and interpret the past at the
oldest site in Alaska! Students will gain experience using state of the art
excavation techniques, including total station 3D photogrammetric mapping. Be prepared
for plenty of off-the-grid backwoods hiking and camping!
Topics will include: geoarchaeology, lithic analysis, ethnohistory, photogrammetry, ecology, and many more
Location: Shaw Creek Flats: Delta Junction, Alaska.
