Albuquerque, NM, Immediate Need for an Archaeological Technician and On-call Technicians

Ecosystem Management, Inc. (EMI) is seeking an archaeological technician for a pedestrian survey in New Mexico and on-call technicians for work in New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and other locations in the western US. One field technician is needed immediately, beginning on Monday, October 15, in New Mexico. Work is expected to last for five days. Lodging is provided, meal per diem is $51/day with a reduced rate on the first and last days, and pay rate is $18/hr. Paid transportation to the project area is provided from Albuquerque. Continued employment beyond this project is likely for the right candidate.

Archaeological technician applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in archaeology/anthropology with the completion of a field school. Applicants should be able to walk at least 10 miles a day and document the sites encountered with a crew in rugged terrain in varying weather conditions.
