Temporary Field Technician

Conducting Phase I survey in Bienville National Forest near Jackson, Mississippi. Shovel testing/ screening and GPS use. Working 10 day rotations with 4 days off in between. Will hike/walk up to 8 miles per day in inclimate weather on trails and uneven terrain carrying backpack and field equipment.

Working full time primarily within the state of Iowa and Southern Minnesota. Responsible for conducting shovel testing, pedestrian survey, and site documentation, which includes artifact identification; site descriptions; photographs and mapping. Will hike/walk up to 6 miles per day in inclimate weather. Have participated on Phase I,II and III projects.
