New Mexico State University Fieldschool

Description: For summer 2019, the NMSU Archaeological Field School will be held at South Diamond Creek Pueblo (SDCP), located in Gila National Forest/Wilderness from May 22nd-June 28th(6 weeks). While working at the site, students will stay at Beaverhead Workstation and commute from the workstation to SDCP every day. They will also take a camping trip to Chaco Canyon. Students will gain experience in excavation, mapping, and laboratory analysis. The cost is 6 credits of tuition plus an $1,200 course fee. Applications are due March 22, 2019.
