BGE, Inc. is a nationwide engineering consulting firm committed to our rapidly growing Cultural Resources program.   We seek a Senior Principal Investigator to join a team of creative thinker/doers outperforming themselves each day.  Three positions will be based out of our Austin, Frisco and Houston, TX offices – but we’re going to keep you in adventure mode!  We know you are passionate about this work and how you deliver quality to all stakeholders; you will fit right in with us!

You will thrive in our culture - lending your scientific expertise on total project management plan/design to include budgeting, profit/loss, multiplier management, and other key project management concepts related to scope, schedule and budget.  You will also contribute to business development in targeted markets as a key part of our growth initiatives.

As a member of our senior team, you will contribute to the leadership of our junior staff with proper training in project field methods, safety considerations, conflict resolution and problem solving.

You already participate in regional, state and national historic preservation and/or archaeological organizations and societies.  We will sponsor those continuing relationships with you.

Make sure your resume highlights the following:

·       Master’s Degree or PhD from an accredited institution in anthropology, archaeology or closely related field

·       Minimum attendance of at least one academic field school  or 10 years+ of documented field experience in archaeology and/or historic preservation with 8+ of those years dedicated to CRM and environmental permitting

·       5 years supervisory and project management experience as a Principal Investigator

·       Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA) certification

·       Communications to regulatory agencies, landowners and clients

·       Local, state and federal regulatory compliance expertise to include Section 106 mastery – specifically Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma

·       Demonstrated mastery of MS Office Suite and Adobe Software; working knowledge of ArcGIS or related GIS platforms
