Principal Investigator Position - New South Associates


New South Associates, Inc. is seeking to fill a position for a Principal Investigator to be stationed in its Stone Mountain, Georgia office.

The selected individual will oversee field research and reporting. They will assist with the training and mentoring of staff on various topics including NRHP eligibility recommendations, the implementation of research designs, and appropriate site recording. The individual must be able to take initiative, resolve problems, and use their knowledge to improve procedures on future projects. Qualifications include a minimum of a Masters degree in anthropology or closely related field; a minimum of three years of demonstrated PI level experience and expertise; a peer-reviewed publication record and conference presentation experience is desired; experience with report technical review as well as creating and managing schedules and budgets are important; and the individual must be able to work independently, work well with other team members, and communicate directions clearly. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, particularly in a Cultural Resource Management setting.
