Crew Chief/Field Director – Full Time
Richard Grubb and Associates is seeking a field director to be based out of its Cranbury, NJ or Philadelphia, PA office. Applicants should be available to travel daily to project sites in the NJ/PA area as necessary fieldwork duties. Prior work experience in the mid-Atlantic preferred but not required.
Field director responsibilities include:
Plan, organize, and manage archaeological surveys, site recordation, monitoring, and other fieldwork duties
Supervise multiple crews on large projects when necessary
Communicate with managers to ensure that projects are performed within budget and meet project schedules
Review and maintain quality control of all field data
Qualified applicants must possess:
Bachelors’ degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Communication, and problem-solving skills
Two years of experience in CRM (preferably in the mid-Atlantic region)
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to travel
Experience using a Trimble Geo7x is preferred.
This is a full-time position and compensation includes a complete benefits package. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
