Environmental Corporation of America has an immediate need for an experienced Secretary of the Interior Qualified Archaeologist in Denver, CO. We are seeking one senior-level Archaeologist/Project Manager for:
· Planning, coordinating, conducting, and reporting all phases of archaeological fieldwork including budgeting and milestone tracking
· Evaluation of archaeological sites for NRHP eligibility
· Artifact analysis
· Curation
· Mapping
· Site form completion
· Construction monitoring
Candidates must meet the Secretary of the Interior Archaeology Qualification Standards in addition to the following requirements:
· At least five years of experience
· Demonstrated technical report writing experience
· Strong organization skills
· Willingness to travel as needed
· Ability to complete physically demanding tasks in variable terrain and environments
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsiveness
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a supervisory capacity for others
· Proficiency in MS Word/Excel, Acrobat, GPS and GIS
· License to drive and a clean driving record
· Reside in the general Denver, CO area or be willing to relocate. Well qualified candidates residing outside of the Denver, CO area, but in adjoining states, may be considered.
