Ethnoscience, Inc., a CRM consulting firm located in Billings, Montana is looking to hire a fulltime field technician for upcoming survey and testing projects in Montana and North Dakota, as well as office work in Billings. The position is hourly and includes benefits. Interested persons will have to relocate to Billings. The work schedule will consist of a 40-hour week, Mon.-Fri while working in Billings. Out of town projects typically consist of ten days on and four days off. Lodging and per diem will be provided on out of town projects requiring overnight stays. Duties in the office will include but is not limited to filling out site forms, developing various tables, sorting artifacts, water screening, and project prep work. Field work will include (but is not limited to) hand excavation with shovel and trowel, screening, identifying artifacts and features, and writing excavation notes.
Minimum Qualifications Include:• A B.A. or B.S. in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in adverse conditions, follow directions, and work in a responsible and professional manner.
• The ability to work as part of a team and take instruction.
• Previous experience working in the Northern Plains and experience conducting Phase III investigations is highly desired.
