Archaeological Field Technicians for multiple projects in Mid-Atlantic and Southeast
Our first project is located in Lycoming County, PA – Pennsylvania.
RK&K is seeking qualified Archaeological Field Technicians and Crew Chiefs for multiple archaeological projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Pay rate starts at $18.00/hr. and is commensurate with experience. Per diem and lodging will be provided. Fieldwork is anticipated to begin in November 2021.
Education/Experience:
BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field
Archaeological field school
Phase I survey experience strongly preferred (shovel testing and pedestrian survey)
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in the field under adverse conditions
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Ability to walk long distances
Ability to document shovel test excavations and record detailed notes
Ability to work well with others
