About the Position: In this position you will plan, organize, and develop archaeological studies; you will manage contract work and prepare documentation and reports.

Plan, conduct, and lead cultural investigations.
Lead Archaeological Technicians in fieldwork, data collection, and preparing forms and reports.
Prepare reports, documenting studies for submission to the State Historic Preservation Office.
Identify properties that are eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
Manage cultural resources contracts and cooperative agreements.
Prepare time and cost estimates and develop scopes of work.
Monitor contractor progress in the field.
Occasional travel – Occasional travel (up to 10%) to field sites, conferences, or trainings may be required.
