This position is located in Redwood National and State Parks, in the Resource Management and Science Division.
Responsibilities
Participate on interdisciplinary park planning teams and is responsible for gathering, researching, analyzing, summarizing, and entering data for historic properties.
Prepare documents such as cultural resources inventory and survey reports, archeological site records, archeological site condition assessments, monitoring reports, and damage assessments.
Prepare written and oral presentations for a variety of audiences such as peers, co-workers, partners, Tribes, and the public summarizing results of these endeavors.
Work closely with other park divisions, park partners, stakeholders, Tribes, and resource professionals to develop and implement long-term planning goals for the park archeological program.
Administer Redwood National Park (REDW) cultural resources data and records and conducts data collection with latest Global Positioning Systems equipment and software.
Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
