Richard Grubb & Associates (RGA) is currently seeking qualified on-call/temporary field technicians and crew chiefs for various Phase I, II, and III archaeological survey projects throughout Tennessee and surrounding states. Temporary positions may lead to permanent, full-time offers. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Field Tech Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
- Archaeological field school
Crew Chief Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
- Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage crew size of 4-6
- Experience with handheld GPS units preferable
- Two years of experience in CRM (preferably in a crew chief position in the Mid-South region)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to document shovel test excavations and record detailed notes
- Ability to work well with others
