Western Field Supervisor
Espinoza Consulting Services has an immediate openings for qualified Project Archaeologists for upcoming work in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Pacific Northwest, and western/plains states. Base location is negotiable. Field work is part of employment. ECS projects include per diem/accommodations at GSA rates.
Qualifications:
Project Archaeologist: Required qualifications include an advanced degree in anthropology or archaeology; seven years cultural resource management experience; extensive experience with the archaeology, history, and ethnohistory of the southwestern and/or far western United States; experience with various federal and state cultural resource regulations; and demonstrable success in supervising fieldwork, research, report preparation, and project personnel. The individual must have experience in the Rockies, Cascades, or similar setting. Preference will be given to individuals who have excellent field, writing, computer, and GPS skills. Past experience in Colorado and California is highly desirable. Candidates should also have demonstrated record of technical and analytical writing, and experience with artifact/materials analysis. Depending upon qualifications and experience, this individual(s) may be hired as a permanent salaried employee.
