Duties
You will Support Base and tenant commands on preparation and submissions of appropriate historic preservation documents for proposed undertakings on all MCBH properties as well as other State, Federal, or privately owned properties in Hawaii.
You will provide assistance to the Senior CRS in the proper development, implementation and regular update of the Base’s Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan.
You will ensure all MCBH Personnel comply with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
You will develop and implement a repatriation process among the Base, other appropriate agencies, and the rightful Native Hawaiian claimants for the remains culminating in the final repatriation and transfer of this collection to its rightful owners.
You will guide and coordinate base and tenant activity efforts to take cultural considerations into account in the siting, maintenance, repair and/or new construction/operation of all Base and tenant projects.
You will compile supporting data, write, and submit national environmental award packages as required.
