Full-Time Archaeological Technician – St. Louis, MO
Job Summary
Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate, financial, and petroleum industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S.
Trileaf is currently seeking a full time Archaeological Technician with at least a bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field, plus successful completion of an archaeological field school. This position will be located out of the company headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities and Duties
The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion of SHPO file and database reviews for above and below ground cultural resources, supervised Phase I archaeological surveys, and cultural resource report writing/production.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
- Completion of an archaeological field school, or similar archaeological internship, with experiential training in archaeological field methods.
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Valid Driver License
- Capable of field work
- Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
- Good computer skills
- Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
Anticipated starting salary between $37,000 and $42,000 (dependent upon experience). Salaries are reviewed every 6 and 12 months, based upon performance.
