About the Position: Serves as Senior Historian and Team Leader of the Force Structure Support Team and coordinates division efforts regarding the force structure support program. Serves as one of the Army’s foremost experts on the nexus between historic unit lineage and honors matters and their relationship to current force structure requirements.

Duties
Serve as the Center?s primary liaison with HQDA G-3/5/7 for force structure actions and their impact on unite lineage and designation.
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of FSUH Division historical force structure support to HQDA G-3 and other HQDA agencies.
Produce studies pertaining to force structure and organizational history issues and provide counsel on those issues.
Serve as a technical authority for all matters in relation to unit lineages, honors, and official designation for Army staff.
Serve as project leader in guiding junior historians in preparing individual studies.
Review material prepared by Center of Military History (CMH) authors for accuracy and publication into the Army Historical Program.
