Cumberland Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking Archaeological Technicians (I&II) as well as a Field Director from East or Middle Tennessee, North Georgia, and Northern Alabama for upcoming fieldwork and analysis throughout the region. Multiple projects will require additional field staff throughout October and November. Preference will be given to applicants who are based in the mid-South region.
Pay for Archaeological Technicians starts at $17/hour with paid (decent) hotel and per diem at $35+ a night (depending upon contract). A Field Director position will start at $25/hour plus per diem.
Any Field Technician will need to have completed a BS/BA in Anthropology plus one archaeological field school. A Field Director will need to fulfill the requirements listed above plus a graduate degree in Anthropology and at least one year of field experience.
