Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a regular full-time Archaeologist based in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. Duties and responsibilities include performing archaeological fieldwork including survey, monitoring, testing, and data recovery projects; assist with project mobilization and demobilization including background research; contribute to technical reports; and produce site forms.
Individuals must be capable of inventorying over rugged/remote terrain for extended periods, have a clean driving record, and be able to work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors. The ability to work out of town is essential. The ability to use Trimble GPS units and digital data collection methods is a plus.
This position requires a B.A. or M.A. in Anthropology, and experience conducting fieldwork.
