Logan Simpson, a growing environmental planning, cultural resources, and landscape architectural design firm, is looking for a temporary Archaeological GIS Technician to work in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. This position may be either full-time or part-time.
The ideal candidate will have proven technical experience in communicating archaeological project data using ArcGIS and preparing and reviewing GIS products. Additionally they will have extensive use and knowledge of mapping standards and practices, and a background in Archaeology. Familiarity with ESRI software is preferred. There may be potential for fieldwork for interested individuals.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographical Information Systems, Anthropology, or related field.
• Demonstrated GPS, ESRI software and data visualization skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control a must!
