About the Position: This is an Archeologist position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Regional Planning and Environmental Center (RPEC).
RPEC has four primary duty stations located in: Fort Worth, TX; Galveston, TX; Little Rock, AR; and Tulsa, OK. However, an alternate duty location within the Continental U.S. (CONUS) may be negotiated for applicants who select the “Location Negotiable After Selection” option at time of application.

Duties
Serves as a professional archeologist assigned to the Regional Planning and Environmental Center.
Conducts cultural resource surveys to identify resources within assigned project areas.
Conducts literature, archival, and records searches as needed to identify and evaluate known resources.
Provide cultural resource input for planning studies and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents.
