AECOM is seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Archaeologist to join our Cincinnati, OH team.
Mid/Senior Archaeologist responsibilities include:
· Oversight of junior staff
· Coordination with federal and state agencies, including regional SHPOs
· Direction and management of archaeological fieldwork, site recordation, technical reporting, artifact analysis
· Supervision of field directors and team leads
· Technical writing in support of Phase I and II project work
· Proposal preparation and support
· Working with approved budgets and scopes of work

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· BS Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
· A minimum of 6 years of prior and recent experience as a mid to Senior Archeologist.
· Out of state travel will be required on an as needed basis.
· Valid U.S. Driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· MS Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
· Experience with either precontact or historic archaeological analysis and practices in the Midwestern United States (preference for precontact specialists).
· Experience with various regional, state, and federal cultural resource management regulations, including a good working knowledge of NEPA and Section 106.
· Excellent technical writing and communication.
· Ability to work in a professional environment and as part of a team.
