Apogee Environmental & Archaeological, Inc. is seeking an Archaeological Field Director to be based remotely in the eastern United States. Applicants should reside in the Mid-Atlantic region, ideally in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania. However, candidates in surrounding states are also encouraged to apply. Basic responsibilities include but are not limited to fieldwork supervision, results dissemination, and assisting with technical report preparation. Experience conducting historic architectural surveys/research is also a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of field experience
• 3-5 years of supervisory field experience
• Extensive experience with a variety of GPS devices and software
• Valid driver’s license
