Summary
This position is a Archeologist, GS-0193-09/11 located in Upper Colorado Basin Region, Provo Area Office, in the Environmental Group.
This position is concurrently open to Merit Promotion eligibles under Announcement Number BOR-UCB-21-11207177-MP-OPM.

Responsibilities
Serve as the staff archeologist for the Area Office Program Manager for all aspects of the cultural resources program concerning Traditional Cultural Properties, archeology, history, and cultural resources management within the Area Office.
Conduct field investigations, prepares reports, and coordinates results as necessary to carry out all aspects of the Area Office’s program involving archeology, Traditional Cultural Properties, history, and cultural resources management.
Serve as the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COR) for all cultural resources related contracts and purchase orders in the Area Office.
Prepare budgets for all cultural resource studies in conjunction with both agency construction projects and ongoing resource management of existing reservoir lands.
